Thessaloniki’s Exhibitions will Take Place as Planned Despite Covid ‘Red’ Status
The upcoming exhibitions of TIF-Helexpo in Thessaloniki will take place as planned despite the city switching to “red” status on Greece’s Covid-19 risk-assessment map, according to Greece’s national exhibition body.
TIF-Helexpo made the announcement on Friday after Greek authorities decided to impose emergency Covid-19 restrictions in Thessaloniki and other regions in northern Greece, due to a rise in coronavirus cases there.
“Our exhibition activity is not affected by the measures put in effect as of today (Friday),” the organization said.
Among TIF-Helexpo’s upcoming events is the 1st Beyond 4.0 Innovation and Technology Exhibition that will take place from 14 – 16 October.
The company is implementing the latest health protocols, as well as strict measures in order to ensure a safe environment for its exhibitors and visitors.
The company also referred to the recent successful 85th Thessaloniki International Fair that took place in September under strict health and safety rules. Held on the premises of the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center, the fair was Greece’s first Covid-free event.
