Aria Hotels: Revamped ‘La Divina’ Ready to Welcome Visitors in Athens
The fully renovated historic hotel La Divina on Adrianou Street in the Thissio district, Athens, will open its doors and welcome visitors as of April 1.
A member of Aria Hotels, a family chain of boutique hotels and independent residences, La Divina is housed in the neoclassical building previously known as the “Odeon Athenaeum” music hall, dedicated to the legendary soprano Maria Callas.
“By choosing La Divina for their stay, guests will enjoy the authentic Greek hospitality that Aria Hotels stands for in a building of unique architectural and historical importance that has been renovated with absolute care and diligence without affecting its character or special architecture,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement.
A boutique hotel, La Divina features 12 spacious suites with unique views of the Acropolis, the Ancient Agora of Thissio, and the National Observatory of Athens. All suites offer modern amenities required for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, a minibar, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries. The hotel is also pet-friendly (pets under 10kg are welcome upon request).
On the hotel’s ground floor, guests will find modern restaurants, perfect for savoring Greek cuisine and local wines, while its location is ideal for those interested in exploring the city’s historical landmarks and museums, as well as experiencing the city’s vibrant nightlife.
Aria Hotels, a subsidiary of the Libra Group, has a strategic development plan that includes investments in selected hotel accommodations and a focus on boutique hotels, aiming to highlight the culture, architecture, and history of Greece.
