‘Botrini’s Santorini’ Restaurant Opening at Katikies Hotel

Michelin-starred Chef Ettore Botrini

“Botrini’s Santorini”, the newly established restaurant of Michelin-starred Chef Ettore Botrini and Katikies hotel group will open its doors on May 1 to offer unique gastronomy experiences to the island’s residents and visitors.

The Santorini version of the award-winning Botrini’s Restaurant has found its spot in the luxury Katikies Santorini hotel in Oia.

“Our first guests will take a seat in one of the most privileged spots of the [Santorini] caldera to enjoy the unique dishes of the award-winning chef and the magic views of the world’s most famous sunset,” Katikies said in an announcement.

Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a crescendo of flavors and aromas by selecting between the à la carte or the two degustation menus of Botrini’s Santorini.

Some of the chef’s signature dishes include the “wild mushroom macaron”; the “reference to a Corfu orange salad”; the “herring – a journey through time”; and the “synchronicity” (milk-fed lamb with aubergine, cherry tomatoes and yoghurt).

Master of Wine Yiannis Karakasis and his expertise will complete the flavourful puzzle with unique wines from Greece and abroad.

Botrini and Katikies Hotels announced their partnership in February with the Greek-Italian chef introducing a fresh culinary concept throughout the Katikies hotels on Mykonos and Santorini.
