Katikies Hotels on Mykonos, Santorini Partner with Michelin-starred Chef Botrini

The Katikies hotel group has announced its new collaboration with Michelin-starred Chef Ettore Botrini and his team, across its hotels on the islands of Santorini and Mykonos.

“I am happy to welcome Ettore Botrini and his team on board,” said Vasileios Koumpis, general manager of Katikies SA.

“In our over 35 years of presence, we have always placed our guest in the very core of our existence. We want our world-travelled visitor to leave feeling genuinely happy, and to accomplish that, we always ask ourselves: what do travelers want when on holidays in Greece? Great food always lands on top of our list,” he added.

The Greek-Italian chef will introduce a fresh culinary concept throughout the Katikies hotels. This includes new restaurant arrivals, conceptual menus, creative combinations of local ingredients and innovative techniques, as well as out-of-the-box thinking and cooking.

The Santorini version of the award-winning Botrini’s Restaurant has already found its spot in the iconic Katikies Santorini hotel, enjoying sweeping views over the imposing Caldera and offering a top-notch fine dining experience for demanding palates.

Meanwhile, starting this summer, all Katikies hotels will be serving the same lavish “Katikies signature” breakfast, as well as an all-day a la carte menu, designed by Ettore Botrini. Among the thrilling options of the brand-new all-day menu is the “Oma” section (Greek word for “raw”), an ode to simplicity and purity.

Master of Wine Yiannis Karakasis and his expertise will complete the flavourful puzzle for each and every Katikies guest.
