The vision, concept and goals of Marketing Greece, the private marketing company for Greek tourism, were presented by CEO Ioanna Dretta during the 40th Annual Hotel Conference of the Cyprus Hotel Managers Association recently held in Nicosia.

In its fifth year, Marketing Greece specializes in designing campaigns that focus on Greek destinations, the country’s tourism products and special market segments. Athens and the Peloponnese, Thessaly, and Lesvos are among the destinations promoted through campaigns so far.

During her speech, Dretta referred to the company’s achievements, also highlighting the importance of private sector initiatives for the promotion of Greece’s tourism product and the dynamics of new strategic partnerships.

Furthermore, the Cyprus Hotel Managers Association presented an honorary plaque to Marketing Greece for its initiatives and activities launched during the last five years. “With cooperation, know-how and commitment, Marketing Greece has a significant work to show, following its establishment upon the initiative of its founding members,” Dretta said.

Marketing Greece's "digital travel show": Wanderlust Greece.Marketing Greece was founded in 2013 by the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and the Hellenic Association of Communications Agencies (EDEE).

“Our presence in this conference proves that our pioneering objectives and activities constitute an example for other countries as well… this is one more incentive for us to continue our work,” Dretta added.

Under the title, “Moving forward, broadening the overall customer experience”, the conference of the Cyprus Hotel Managers Association took place on February 13.
