Air Serbia Launches Direct Flights Between Belgrade and Heraklion, Crete
Air Serbia recently launched a seasonal service between Belgrade and the Greek city of Heraklion for summer 2023.
The flag carrier of Serbia will be operating flights to the capital of Crete four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, on an Airbus A320.
“With the introduction of a service to this city, we have expanded Air Serbia’s presence in the friendly country of Greece,” said Air Serbia General Manager Commercial and Strategy Boško Rupić, during a ceremony held on May 31 to welcome flight JU750 at Heraklion Airport coming from belgrade.
“Heraklion is the crossroads of three continents and one of the most vibrant places in the Mediterranean, and as of today, a new destination in our growing network,” he added.
During June, Air Serbia will also start operating flights to Rhodes, Corfu, and Chania, enabling passengers to reach the popular Greek leisure destinations quickly and easily.
The Serbian national airline offers good connectivity from Heraklion, via Belgrade, to Amsterdam, Berlin, Bologna, Zurich, Dusseldorf, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Paris, Prague, Rome, Venice, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Podgorica, and many other cities.
