Croatia Airlines to Begin Seasonal Flights to Athens from April
Croatia Airlines, a member of the Star Alliance network, from next month will resume its seasonal flights connecting Athens with Zagreb, Dubrovnik and Split for summer 2023.
Croatia’s flag carrier from April 20 to October 22 will operate its seasonal summer service to Athens from Dubrovnik and Zagreb. The flights for the 2023 summer season will operate three times a week, every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
The airline will also launch a summer service between Athens and Split every Saturday from May 27 until September 23.
During this year’s tourism season, Croatia Airlines is planning to connect Croatia with 22 international destinations (i.e., 23 European airports) by operating flights on 47 international routes.
More specifically, the airline is planning to operate more than 17,000 flights and to offer more than 1,820,000 seats.
Aiming for the flights it offers to passengers are more pleasant and of a significantly better quality, Croatia Airlines last November signed a contract for the purchase of state-of-the-art Airbus A220 aircraft.
Based on the contract, by 2026, Croatia Airlines’ existing fleet will in its entirety be replaced with a new, single-type fleet of jet-powered aircraft.
According to Croatia’s flag carrier, this is expected to make its business operations far more economical and sustainable.
