Astir Odysseus Kos Resort Celebrates a Decade of Hospitality
The Astir Odysseus Kos Resort & Spa recently celebrated its 10th anniversary since its opening in 2009, with a special event held at its five-star premises.
Located in the area of Tigaki on Kos, the hotel welcomed over 500 Greek and foreign partners, associates, friends and guests at its anniversary event.
According to an announcement, during its decade of operation, the Astir Odysseus Kos Resort & Spa recorded more than 1 million overnight stays of Greek and foreign visitors.
The travelers who choose the resort come from 10 countries: Germany, the UK, Belgium, The Netherlands, Israel, Turkey, Luxembourg, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
Covering an area of 100 stremmas (24.7 acres), Astir Odysseus Kos offers 337 rooms of a total of 1,000 beds.
Its facilities include pools that cover an area of over 5,000 m²; an artificial climbing wall of 10 meters; three restaurants and three bars; a wellness and beauty center; conference rooms for up to 600 persons; a theater for up to 250 persons; indoor and outdoor hot tubs; a games room; and sports facilities.
The luxury resort is surrounded by 14,779 trees and plants.
Astir Odysseus Kos also offers babysitting and child care services.
Furthermore, under its corporate social responsibility program, the resort runs recycling programs for plastic, aluminum, glass, paper, batteries and lamps.
The luxury unit employs 220 employees throughout the season.
