The Kallichoron hotel received the silver award in the Best Greek Hotel Breakfast category.

“Grandma’s Breakfast is an integral part of Kallichoron’s gastronomy offerings. Fresh, local ingredients are used to ensure that our guests have a tasty and nutritious breakfast based on Astypalean gastronomy,” said Maria Mavroudi, general manager of Kallichoron Art Boutique Hotel.

Curated by dietician-nutritionist Mary Micheli, Grandma’s Breakfast is customized daily to the needs of every guest.

“This award recognizes the quality of the services we offer at Kallichoron… We will continue to work towards providing innovative services based on our love and passion for hospitality,” Mavroudi added.

Furthermore, according to the hotel’s manager Carolina Alkalai, Grandma’s Breakfast is one of the ways Kallichoron attains sustainability and reduces food waste with a more environmental friendly use of raw materials. “Through technology, we are able to offer individual nutrition counseling and cover a wide range of dietary needs,” she said.
