BCD Meetings & Events Greece, a global travel organization specializing in meetings and events, was honored with the silver award in the Congress Tourism (MICE) category at the Tourism Awards 2018 recently held in Athens.
In its fifth year, the awards recognize excellence and innovation in the hospitality and tourism industries.
Represented in Greece by Mideast Travel Worldwide, BCD Meetings & Events organizes more than 48,000 meetings annually around the world.

The Tourism Awards 2018 took place recently at the Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Center in Athens, in the presence of more than 700 tourism industry professionals and prominent personalities.
The 30-member judging committee, chaired by Greek travel journalist Maya Tsoclis, included academics, subject-matter experts and eminent personalities with experience in the hospitality sector, such as Yiannis Boutaris, Mayor of Thessaloniki and Dr Dimitrios Diamantis, Dean of Graduate Studies, Les Roches, Global Hospitality Education.
