Hotel management group Aqua Vista Hotels received four honors for its innovative projects in the hospitality sector at the prestigious Tourism Awards 2018, which took place recently at the Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Center in Athens.
The group won three silver and a bronze award, “which confirm its position as one of the most successful hotel management and consulting companies in the country,” an announcement said. More specifically, Aqua Vista received:
- a silver award in the Hotel Development, Management & Consulting category, for the development of profitable hotel units and the implementation of strategies that bring optimum results,
- a silver award in the Architecture & Interior Design category and specifically in the Renovation subcategory for the reconstruction of buildings with unique features – in this case the Opera Mansion on Santorini, and
- a bronze award in the Cultural Tourism category for its innovative Aqua Gallery, which is combining high-end hospitality and art in the premises of the Art Hotel on Santorini.
Organized by Boussias Communications, the Tourism Awards celebrate best practices and innovative initiatives in the Greek tourism industry. This year’s event took place in the presence of more than 700 industry executives and professionals.
“It is always very satisfying to receive recognition for our achievements and successes, even more when it comes from industry professionals,” said the group’s business development manager, Sophia Matzourani.
It is the second consecutive year that Aqua Vista Hotels is honored at the Tourism Awards. “Nothing gives us greater pleasure than knowing that all our efforts have been fruitful. These awards provide us with the incentive to continue applying our distinct hotel management philosophy on development and consultation,” Matzourani added.
Greek Travel Pages was among the main communication sponsors of the Tourism Awards 2018.
