The new trends and challenges in the MICE industry will be focused on during the 8th Panhellenic Conference of the Hellenic Association of Professional Congress Organizers (HAPCO) in Athens. The conference is scheduled to be held between January 31 and February 1 at the Hotel Grande Bretagne.
Titled “Rapid changes – New trends and challenges”, the conference’s key speakers will include professionals of the congress tourism industry as well as institutions and organizations related to the health sector, and representatives from the fields of politics and academia.
Topics to be discussed during the conference include:
– The contribution of the MICE sector to the national economy
– General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and personal data – The new era in the personal data management
– Destination Greece: Bidding for and hosting conferences – A time for extroversion
– Selection of conference venues: Greek and international practices.
