Bloggers Andrea Petroni and Valentina Venanzi that manage the travel blog vologratis.org, traveled to Athens in late August to discover the Greek capital and feature it as a year-round city break destination to their Italian readers.
During their short visit to Greece, the bloggers visited the archaeological sites of the Acropolis and Sounion, toured the center of Athens, breathed in the fresh Mediterranean air while strolling the Attica Riviera and tasted traditional Greek cuisine.
Their feature is titled Diario di viaggio ad Atene (Diary of a visit to Athens) and ran in two parts (Day 1 & Day 2)

On the other hand, Thessaloniki was the Greek city of choice for Italian duo Chris Cappello and Marta Lazzarin from travel blog blogdiviaggi.it.
The bloggers trip – entitled Grecia on the Road – took place in late August in Thessaloniki where the bloggers stayed for two days before flocking to Meteora to see the Greek monasteries. Next on the list was a road trip to Chalkidiki where they experienced the destination’s breathtaking natural beauty and endless beaches.
Throughout their journey, the travel bloggers from both blogs shared many photos with their followers and friends on facebook, twitter, instagram and foursquare.
The office of the Greek National Tourism Organization in Italy organized the trips of the Italian travel bloggers to Greece.
