Bird’s Eye Panoramic Photos Of The Acropolis Now Online
After uploading the breathtaking aerial photos of Oia, Santorini, last February, Airpano has now posted online its high resolution panoramic images of the Acropolis.
It is reminded that the Russian group of photographers, Airpano, was invited to Greece last September by City Contact company and Athens Walking Tours to take panoramic aerial shots of the country and promote them on their website to a global audience. Some 100,000 panorama enthusiasts visit the website daily.
According to City Contact, the initiative aims to promote Greece to the Russian market, a market of great importance for Greek tourism today. Greece is expected to welcome this year some one million, high-income, Russian visitors.
