Hellenic Chamber of Hotels: Topics of 6th General Assembly
The new trends in the international hotel industry, the performance of the tourism sector in 2016 and the prospects of 2017 will be analyzed at the 6th General Assembly of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels on Friday, February 10, during the 12th International Hotel, Restaurant and Cafe Show HORECA at the Metropolitan Expo exhibition center.
During the annual general assembly, the chamber will introduce its new action regarding the Boutique Hotel special seal, the “Greek Breakfast” program certification process, updates on the trip2Athens digital platform and speeches will be given by the chairmen of Greece’s hotel associations.
The chamber will also go over its finances and actions of the previous year and present a study by the Institute for Tourism Research and Forecasts (ITEP) regarding 2016 tourism data and the country’s hotel capacity. The study will include an analysis of data involving the Greek hotel sector by region and reflect the carrying capacity for tourism development.
The 6th General Assembly will be held at 5pm and attended by Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura and Alternate Economy and Development Minister Alexis Haritsis.
