Aldemar’s Olympian Village is Greece’s Leading Family Resort for 2024
The Olympian Village of Aldemar Resorts in Western Greece recently shined as Greece‘s Leading Family Resort 2024 at the 31st World Travel Awards (WTA) held at the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin, Germany, sealing its position as a family destination.
The WTA rewards and celebrates excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry. Established in 1993, the brand covers the globe with a series of regional gala ceremonies staged to recognize individual and collective success within each key geographical region.
“This distinction comes to seal and highlight Olympian Village internationally as a destination ideal for families, thanks to its unique location, its facilities, its services designed with care for parents and children, and the warm, unpretentious hospitality it offers,” the resort’s management said in an announcement.
The award was received by the hotel’s director, Pantelis Gasparis, and deputy director, Christiana Vassiliadou.
Located in Olympia, western Peloponnese, Aldemar Olympian Village is a luxury five-star resort overlooking the Ionian Sea. Right on the long-awarded sandy beach of Skafidia, the 350-acre resort nestles within landscaped, lush gardens surrounded by palm, olive, and pine trees.
People have always been and continue to be at the heart of the Aldemar Group’s philosophy, and with this human-centered basis, the hotel and its services evolve and enrich every year. Olympian Village is a grand resort, not only because of its size but mainly because it stands for and operates on the multi-dimensional nature of hospitality, catering to the needs of each individual guest.
“The awards are an occasion to say another thank you to the real protagonists of a warm hospitality. The staff and management of Aldemar Olympian Village continue to gain awards and follow the sustainable path of hospitality that Aldemar has paved,” said the CEO of Aldemar Resorts Group, Alexandros Angelopoulos.
In its 31st edition, the World Travel Awards also honored Greece as “Europe’s Leading Destination 2024” .
