Thessaloniki Hotels Association Unveils New Corporate Identity
The Thessaloniki Hotels Association (THA) has recently unveiled its new corporate identity, honoring the northern Greek city’s architecture and the association’s history.
The new logo, takes “Θ” (theta), Thessaloniki’s first letter in Greek, and “restructures it into a modern symbol built around the ideas of unity and love,” according to the association’s announcement.
The identity was designed by the ” The Creatives” marketing agency, which last year won a Gold PR Award for organizing the “Θες Break” (“You need a break”) press trip with THA to further promote the city’s tourism offerings.

The creative team behind THA’s logo used a color palette combining classic tones with fresh elements, while highlighting the more than 100-year-old history of the association with the “est. 1914” signature.
According to a recent study released by the THA in collaboration with GBR Consulting four- and 5-star hotels in Thessaloniki are currently on the rise replacing smaller 1- and 2-star units.
More specifically, the number of 4-star hotel units in Thessaloniki increased by 80 percent and 5-star facilities by 62 percent over the 2015-2022 period.
