NJV Athens Plaza Hotel’s Outdoor Café Gets New Look
The NJV Athens Plaza Hotel recently completed the refurbishment of its outdoor café facilities, offering guests and visitors an ideal meeting point in the heart of the Greek capital.
The Plaza Café’s revamped appearance now features new comfortable armchairs and designer tables, upgraded flooring, and well-placed plant arrangements that create a pleasant green and cool atmosphere.
Situated across Syntagma Square, the Plaza Café is conveniently located just steps away from major shopping opportunities and Athens’ bustling business district.
Whether guests desire an early morning coffee, a refreshing iced beverage or aperitif after a shopping spree, a quick bite and break between business meetings, or simply a starting point for a leisurely summer stroll through the city, this café caters to all.
The café offers a wide selection of beverages, including refreshing teas, coffees, wines, cocktails, and homemade desserts. Additionally, guests can indulge in delectable pastries by Madame Fraise or savor the flavors of Mövenpick ice cream.

Originally opening its doors in 1980 as Le NJV Meridien through a partnership with the upscale, design-focused French hotel brand Le Méridien, the hotel was later renamed Grecotel NJV Athens Plaza in 1998 after entering an agreement with Grecotel. In 2009, the hotel transitioned to operating independently as the NJV Athens Plaza.
Since its establishment in 1980, the NJV Athens Plaza has remained under the ownership of the Vardinoyannis Group, maintaining a steadfast presence in the hospitality industry.
