Peloponnese Tourism Organization Announces Revolutionary Collaboration
The Peloponnese Tourism Organization (PTO) recently presented its plans to revolutionize the hospitality sector in Greece through a collaboration with WelBook, a health and wellness online booking platform.
The PTO’s plan was presented to Tourism Deputy Minister Sofia Zacharaki during a special meeting held at the Tourism Ministry last week in Athens.
Zacharaki welcomed the collaboration aiming to create a unique experiential and health and wellness hospitality package that could benefit both travelers and tourism entrepreneurs.
During the meeting PTO President Konstantinos Marinakos, alongside Patras Medical Association President Anna Mastorakou and WelMed’s Commercial Director Antonis Giakoumis and Collaboration Manager Giorgos Raptis discussed how high-level medical services and particular elements of Greek hospitality can be combined to redefine the hotel product and improve the quality-price ratio.
Furthermore, Marinakos mentioned that the PTO aims to collaborate with multiple health and wellness stakeholders in the future to create safe, and authentic experiences that can act as added value for travelers and their families and set a new standard for the hospitality industry in Greece.
