Xenia 2022 Hospitality Expo is Just Around the Corner

Xenia, a key trade meeting point for the hospitality industry, is getting ready to welcome a highly specialised audience from November 26 to 28 at the Metropolitan Expo center in Athens.

Following a record season for Greek tourism, which is showing huge prospects for further growth, over 500 exhibitors will present all new trends, innovative products, proposals and solutions for the construction, renovation and digital presence of hotel accommodations.

“The optimism for even more arrivals and income next season, as well as the lengthening of the tourist season, make it imperative to upgrade the quality of the Greek tourist product of our country,” says Forum SA, the organizer of the Xenia hospitality trade show.

The exhibition, which also serves as a networking forum for hoteliers, tourism industry executives, architects, engineers, decorators, f&b managers and owners of rental rooms and villas, is expected to attract some 25,000 visitors.

In parallel with the exhibition, events and workshops will take place to inform on new technologies as well as the latest developments in the sector.

The Xenia exhibition for the first time will host the annual General Assembly of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels.

In its 10th year, the event will focus on the new trends that prevail in the international hotel scene, the performance of the tourism sector in 2022 and the new actions of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels.

Moreover, the developments and problems for the hotel industry in the post-covid era will be discussed in detail, as well as the proposals of the chamber to the state.

The assembly is expected to attract more than 1,000 hoteliers from all over Greece.

Architect Lab: A project for creative synergies

This year’s Xenia expo will see the launch of the Architect Lab, a pioneering project set in a 800 square-meter area in Hall 2.

Dedicated exclusively to innovative materials and construction solutions for the modern needs of hotel businesses, the Architect Lab will host architects, decorators, and engineers in 26 booths.

Exhibitors in the Architect Lab area will present high-end solutions for the construction, renovation and decoration of hotels. The exhibitors’ booths will be grouped in 5 islands which visitors will be able to reach from the two exhibition corridors within the area.

Workshops

The Architect Lab area will also include a stage where workshops will take place during the three days of the exhibition. The workshops will be structured around 3 main pillars – Tech, Design and Sustainability – to create a point of reference for innovation and inspiration both for architects as well as for the show’s visitors.

The workshops will include speeches from experienced and awarded architects and important representatives of the tourism industry from Greece and abroad.

“The aim is to present experiences and views that can significantly affect the future of the tourism industry and contribute substantially to the creative redesign of the Greek tourism product,” says Forum SA.

Xenia Digi Hotel 2022: Digital tools for the hospitality industry

The Xenia Digi Hotel in Hall 1 once again will see experts presenting all the modern tools of digital marketing for the hospitality industry and the ways the hoteliers and tourism executives can apply them to their businesses.

Throughout the three days of the exhibition, the specially designed stage will host panel discussions and presentations of successful case studies to offer solutions and ideas to Greek hoteliers that are looking to promote their hotels through digital tools. The Xenia Digi Hotel 2022 program will include discussions on booking machines, up-sales techniques, developments in digital marketing, distribution channels, correct pricing of hotel rooms, parity pricing and contracts with OTA’s.

Experts will also focus on artificial intelligence and the new possibilities that it offers to today’s hoteliers; and the creation of experiences for costumers and the right ways of selling them.
