Hotel Revenue Management: Cavo Zoe Enters Second Year of Partnership with RevitUp
Cavo Zoe, a contemporary seaside hotel in the heart of Protaras, Cyprus, has announced that one year after partnering with Greek revenue management company RevitUp, during a challenging season for the industry, revenue has increased year-on-year.
The hotel partnered with RevitUp in September 2021 in the midst of a difficult environment due to the Covid-19 pandemic which was then followed by the war in Ukraine in February and the energy crisis.
RevitUp provided its industry expertise and extensive revenue management consulting services to the Cavo Zoe Seaside Hotel and helped maximise revenue and improve the pricing policy of the business.
Choosing the right revenue management company
According to the hotel’s general manager, Giorgos Motsios, after a year of challenges, a shift towards modern revenue management was essential.
“The intangible nature of the tourism product makes it vulnerable to external changes, and therefore as businesses we must be in control and not dependent. Therefore, we must shield our sales, create a plan and strategy and follow consistent steps,” Motsios said explaining why the hotel decided to partner with a revenue management company.
“Our collaboration with RevitUp is noteworthy because of the results it brought us… Cavo Zoe was aiming to develop a comprehensive sales strategy and wanted to work with expert professionals who have real knowledge, real data and know the business,” he said, adding that the partnership with RevitUp was a decision based on the company’s reputation.
“After gathering international market research data we approached RevitUp,” he said.
The results of the right partnership
Motsios highlighted that RevitUp has a holistic approach to the product, which relieved the Cavo Zoe team from daily stress.
“RevitUp’s approach covers all the pillars adapted to the needs of an online product, which for us are sales, revenue, marketing, branding and promotion,” he said, adding that RevitUp’s know-how helped improve the hotels’ pricing policy as a whole.
Moreover, Motsios made special mention to RevitUp’s “flawless” support team.
“Together we set goals right from the beginning of the partnership and from there on we followed a plan and in the end our goals were achieved… I believe there’s much more to come from our partnership with RevitUp,” he said.
Based on the Greek island of Crete, RevitUp offers services including Revenue Management, Performance Marketing, Digital Presence Management and Online Distribution & Sales for hotel businesses. The company currently has a portfolio of 30 hotels located in seven destinations in Greece and abroad.
