The Municipality of Lipsi is passing on the message that “Lipsi is for everyone” (L.I.F.E.) through a new promotional online campaign aimed at international markets.

Shown at virtual tourism fairs and workshops, the campaign also includes special presentations of Lipsi to inform foreign journalists, influencers and travel agents.

“Our aim is to highlight the different [tourism] elements of our destination that are widely recognized in the post-Covid-19 era such as sustainability, ecology, hiking tourism, cruises, yachting, exotic weddings, local cuisine, tradition and religious customs,” Lipsi Mayor Fotis Maggos said in announcement.

The municipality has already passed on its L.I.F.E. message through virtual tourism exhibitions based in Austria, Germany, the UK, Romania and Israel as well as in digital workshops in France, Italy and Germany with more to follow.

“We are taking advantage of the new trends, as the pandemic has turned the spotlight on small island destinations that offer authentic experiences,” he added.
