HotelBrain Joins Forces with Sky Express Owner to Form New Travel Packages for Greece
Greek hotel management and consulting group HotelBrain and the IOGR Group, owner of Greek airline Sky Express, have joined forces aiming to create new attractive products in Greece’s tourism sector.
By linking travel, accommodation and other services, the two groups look to create attractive travel packages for Greek destinations both for travelers and tourism professionals.
As part of their strategic partnership, the IOGR Group will acquire a minority stake in the parent company of the HotelBrain Group through a share capital increase and cash payment.
HotelBrain is a leading hospitality group in Greece founded by Panos Paleologos. The group manages or operates 64 accommodation units of all types (3,200 rooms) in 32 Greek destinations.
In 2021, it is estimated that HotelBrain will be operating over 75 privately-owned hotels.
Headed by Ioannis Grylos, the IOGR Group is active in the aviation sector, offering ground services through Skyserv and flights to 34 Greek destinations with Sky Express.
The company recently acquired six new jets to enhance its position in the domestic and international market.
IOGR is also active in the fields of logistics, energy, financial services, production and export of olive oil.
