St. George Lycabettus Hotel Welcomes Visitors to Athens
The recently renovated St. George Lycabettus Lifestyle Hotel in Athens has reopened its doors to provide guests with prime hospitality experiences near the center of the Greek capital.
The five-star property is among the city’s historic hotels, offering business and leisure travelers high-quality services for the last 40 years.
To ensure the safety of its guests and staff against the COVID-19 pandemic, St. George Lycabettus has implemented the necessary hygiene and cleanliness protocols including contactless check-in and check-out.
Furthermore, its staff has been properly trained to offer guests the opportunity to relax and enjoy their stay.
The award-winning hotel is considered an example of modern luxury and timeless elegance which is evident in its renovated accommodation facilities – 150 rooms, 10 suites – the lobby and other public areas such as its restaurant, pool bar and conference rooms.
Art & sustainability
Guests can admire a unique collection of Greek art in St. Lycabettus’ corridors, while many rooms feature themes dedicated to propular Greek writers and poets such as Odysseas Elytis and Nikos Kazantzakis.
Furthermore, in collaboration with Cocomat the hotel has launched its brand new Eco-chic rooms with furniture made of natural materials and pillows especially selected to offer excellent sleeping conditions.
Apart from unique accommodation, the St. George Lycabettus Lifestyle Hotel also features its own art venues including the SG art gallery which often hosts works of Greek and foreign artists, interactive art events, fashion presentations, artsy dinners, theatrical performances and much more.
Moreover, in collaboration with the Kappatos Gallery, the hotel every year transforms one of its floors into a gallery, where all rooms host works of art and installations by talented Athenian artists.
The latest addition to St.George Lycabettus is its brand new VIP cinema theater that can host approximately 30 persons and is available for private screenings, book presentations and conferences.
St. George Lycabettus has also reopened its renovated pool area – the Vertigo Pool Club – which offers an impressive view of the Acropolis and the city of Athens, all the way to the Saronic islands. It is open from 9am until 12 midnight.
