Launched a decade ago by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH), “Greek Breakfast” aims to promote Greece’s breakfast habits and culture through recipes and products served at accommodation facilities throughout the country.

“Through a program of live cooking sessions, visitors will be able to experience a diverse gastronomy experience and Greek hospitality, as well as understand the reasons why ‘Greek Breakfast’ should become part of the menu of all accommodation facilities throughout the country,” an announcement said.

Furthermore, visitors will have the chance to taste new and traditional authentic dishes such as the open pie with flour, trahana, sour cream, sausage and organic mizithra cheese from Drama, and the cheese pies of Patmos.

The culinary events will be curated by consultant chef Stratos Iosifellis.
