Athens’ Divani Caravel Hotel Hosts China’s President Xi Jinping

The Divani Caravel hotel, a member of the Divani Collection Hotels, hosted Chinese President Xi Jinping during his recent visit to Athens.

“It is a great honor for the Divanis group that the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and the Chinese delegation selected a Greek family chain [for their stay] during their visit to the Greek capital,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement.

Located near the city center, the five-star Divani Caravel is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World and offers high-quality amenities, a safe environment and the signature hospitality of the Divani family.

The hotel recently completed an ambitious renovation project which included its reception area; conference halls; rooms and suites, and dining facilities.

“With the hotel’s revamp, and the addition of new areas and [hospitality] suggestions, the Divani Caravel shows its devotion to offering prime authentic hospitality experiences,” the announcement said.

The hotel also offers stunning views to some of the city’s landmark sites including the Acropolis, Lycabettus and the Saronic Gulf.
