Emirates Celebrates 23 years of Connecting Greece to the Far East
Emirates is celebrating 23 years of presence in the Greek market, having offered its services to approximately 2.4 million passengers.
According to an announcement, Emirates was the first company that connected Greece directly to Dubai, the starting point for exploring 21 Far East destinations of the airline’s worldwide network.
Apart from connecting Greeks to the world, Emirates has also stayed committed to offering inflight experiences that match its passengers’ tastes.
Therefore, from May 31 until September 30, Greek passengers will travel even more comfortably with the airline’s A380 aircraft, enjoying a rich combination of services including the On Board Lounge and Shower Spa and cutting edge technology.
In addition, Greek passengers should know that Emirates is including Phnom Penh and Bangkok to its Far East network, with routes to launch as of June 1.
5-star hotel experience in the air
According to the announcement, Emirates seeks to offer the experience of a five-star hotel and change the perception about food served on flights. “While onboard menus are not cooked at 35,000 feet, customer’s expectations and demands still remain high. This makes the company work harder in order to have at its disposal the freshest ingredients of the highest quality, using special cooking techniques and eventually offering a five-star hotel meal on Emirates aircraft.”
Furthermore, travelers on board all Emirates flights get to experience Emirates’ award-winning multinational crew, including Greek cabin crew and pilots, while enjoying a chef prepared regionally inspired meal such as traditional Greek appetizers using the freshest ingredients, accompanied by a wide range of complimentary wines and beverages.
