INSETE to Hold Athens Seminar with Lausanne Hospitality Consulting

INSETE, the Greek Tourism Confederation’s intelligence body, has announced a specialized training seminar on revenue management for hospitality professionals in Athens, to be held in partnership with Lausanne Hospitality Consulting (LHS).

Titled “Maximizing Revenue and Managing Distribution”, the seminar will be held between March 18-21.

INSETE logoIt is the second time that INSETE is collaborating with LHS, a consulting and executive education subsidiary of Swiss university Ecole Hòtelière de Lausanne (EHL).

A total of 25 hospitality professionals, active in the fields of sales and revenue management, will have the opportunity to attend the seminar, which will focus on pricing and distribution strategies; techniques for revenue increase; and ways of recovering lost sales opportunities among other issues.

The seminar’s keynote speaker will be Horatiu Tudori, a senior faculty member of EHL. He holds a BS and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Brasov, Romania, and an MBA from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. He has been specializing in Revenue Management since 1999, and is teaching this course for the Bachelor’s and the EMBA programs.

Currently, Horatiu is researching on the impact of revenue management decisions on hotel free cash flow, and on the applications of revenue management with hotel ancillary services, e.g. spa, golf, and by other industries, e.g. ski lift in Alps resorts.

INSETE announced that it will cover part of the participation fee, providing tourism professionals with the opportunity to participate in a high-level professional training seminar at a low cost.

The four-day seminar will be delivered in English. Tickets are limited and will be provided on a “first-come, first-served” basis.
