Hilton Athens’ Pool Area Gets New Look

The Hilton Athens hotel is inviting summer guests to experience the impressive scenery of its newly revamped outdoor pool deck, right in the heart of the Greek capital.

The five-star hotel has styled the pool deck with new furnishings, including new comfortable big white sun beds and grey umbrellas, which add a discrete sense of luxury to the whole scene.

The hotel’s nearby Oasis Pool Bar & Grill this year has a new Mediterranean menu, “ideal to accompany your sunny days while at the best summer meeting point of the city”.

The culinary suggestions of Executive Chef Kostas Athanasiou include fresh salads such as the rocket salad with watermelon, ksinomyzithra cheese and cranberry balsamic dressing; gourmet “meze” recipes to accompany your ouzo drink such as smoked tuna from Kalymnos, squid in semolina crust with spicy mayonnaise and shrimp with herbs, yoghurt and paprika; various options for casual meals such as Black Angus burger and chicken club sandwich.

The menu also includes Greek pies such as the Evia cheese pie, the “ladenia” which is a pie resembling the Italian pizza and the traditional pie of Kimolos among others.

Furthermore, visitors can enjoy healthy smoothies such the detox “Green Power” with spinach, kale, ginger and lime, and the body toning “Body Energy” with almond milk, honey and tahini.

The Hilton pool operates daily from 8 am to 9 pm and the Oasis Pool Bar & Grill is open from 10 am to 7:30 pm.

Visitors can experience the relaxing ambiance of the pool at the price of 35 euros on weekdays (25 euros after 6 pm) and 55 euros on weekends and holidays. The hotel offers special ticket packages and one-, three- or six-month memberships.
