Nelios Launches New Service to Handle Media Requests of Hoteliers

In efforts to offer the best services to its hospitality industry associates, Greek digital marketing agency Nelios recently launched the Media Hub, a digital tool designed to handle media requests.

More specifically, the mission of Media Hub by Nelios is to conduct research, estimate, evaluate and manage all media requests in regards to the promotion (free or paid) of Nelios’ hotels – associates.

NeliosAccording to Nelios, the new service is the answer to today’s reality, which sees hoteliers overwhelmed everyday with numerous e-mails and requests of bloggers, influencers, journalists and photographers, who offer either publicity with a fee or (usually) in exchange for a complimentary stay. The Media Hub by Nelios aims to provide hoteliers with a clear answer on whether a request is worth accepting and under what terms.

The specially designed software of Media Hub by Nelios highlights the communication benefits that could emerge from every request sent by bloggers or influencers, while also providing answers to basic questions such as: Which of them actually have followers? What are their characteristics? Whose posts actually have high engagement? Whose blogs have a high SEO value for a hotel?

“The research, evaluation and ultimately the answer to every media request (digital or not) is a challenging and time consuming process. It also demands specialized knowledge, metrics – evaluation tools and of course special handling,” Nelios said. The Media Hub by Nelios acts as a filter that chooses only the requests that offer proper promotional activity that could further strengthen a hotel’s reputation and sales.

The Media Hub service is – for the time being – provided for free, exclusively to the associates of Nelios. The company’s future plans include offering the service to all hoteliers that express an interest.
