Greek Seamen Continue Strike, No Ferries December 4-5

strike_ferriesFollowing its two-day strike on Friday and Saturday, the Pan-Hellenic Seamen’s Federation (PNO) announced a new 48-hour strike in all ship categories from 6 am on Sunday, December 4, until 6 am on Tuesday, December 6.

The Greek seamen are mainly protesting against a possible increase in their income tax.

PNO unionists have announced a march to the Ministry of Shipping on Monday morning and are expected to meet with Greek Shipping Minister Panagiotis Kouroumblis.

It is reminded that PNO has also announced a strike for Thursday, December 8.
