UK Tour Operator Reports Greece Up 25% Compared To 2012
British tour operator Mark Warner Holidays has reported that bookings to its Greek summer resorts on the islands of Rhodes, Kos, and Lemnos, are up around 25 percent compared to the same time last year.
“Greece as always leads the way with our customers,” David Hopkins, managing director of Mark Warner Holidays said in an announcement.
Mark Warner Holidays specializes in family and activity holidays and has agreements with four Greek summer resorts: Helona Beach Resort and Lakitira Beach Resort on Kos, Levante Beach Resort on Rhodes and Lemnos Beach on Lemnos.
“There is a real appetite in the market with our customers for good quality product with guaranteed weather conditions and with us delivering this combination at exceptional value means we are seeing a strong positive impact on sales across the season,” Mr. Hopkins said.
Mark Warner’s managing director added that the company has been boosted by its British Airways charter flights from London Heathrow, which now account for 85 percent of the tour operator’s summer flying program and has proved immensely popular amongst customers.
