Greek Tourism Dreams Continue To Infiltrate Japanese Market
Strong penetration of Greek tourism into the Japanese market continues unabated. The most recent achievement was the release of a second four-page supplement that focused on the latest developments in the Greek tourism sector.
The July supplement, entitled Hellenic News, was included in the Japanese business travel magazine Travel Journal, and referred to the Greek development ministry’s tourism policy and measures, according to the Hellenic Tourism Organization’s dynamic Far East office.
The publication also mentioned the Japanese-directed play “The Greeks,” which is to be performed in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya this month and next month. It also referred to the Athens festival and the ancient Epidavros theatre.
The Travel Journal targets independent Japanese travellers and businessmen and includes useful information on travel.
The most recent edition spotlighted journeys through Greece by train.
