Athens Among Cities With High Quality Hotel Service

Athens moved up a full 14 spots in the ranking of hotel service quality, according a recent survey conducted by holiday booking website Trivago.

In a survey examining 140 hotels in 100 cities around the world, Athens climbed to the 36th position with a popularity rate of 80.5 percent from the 50th place it occupied in the previous year’s survey.

The list was drawn up based on reviews posted on Trivago and more than 200 booking websites.

It is noted that the popularity rate of hotel services in Athens was higher than other popular cities such as London, Paris, Barcelona, Montreal, Dubai, Zurich, New York, Rome, Sydney, Moscow, Milan, Amsterdam, Brussels, etc.

The top 10 cities ranked for excellent hotel service quality include Sorrento (Italy), Dresden (Germany) Gdansk (Poland), Dubrovnik (Croatia), Siem Reap (Cambodia), Krakow (Poland), Budapest (Hungary), Chicago (USA), Warsaw (Poland) and Split (Croatia).
