Athens Introduced To Hungarian Journalists
The Greek capital’s most important places of tourist and cultural interest were introduced in November to a group of journalists from major Hungarian newspapers and magazines during a press trip organized by the Greek National Tourism Organization office in Austria.
The press trip was held on the occasion of the new flight schedule of Aegean Airlines that includes the Budapest-Athens connection on Fridays and Mondays and is expected to help boost city break arrivals from Hungary.
During their stay, the Hungarian journalists toured the city’s main sites and markets, visited hotels and were informed of the services and infrastructure. They were also treated to a day cruise and explored the islands of the Argosaronic Gulf.
Impressions of Athens by Hungarian journalists
“Something I already knew was confirmed through this trip: Athens is ready, it combines everything and does not lag behind other cities.” – Andrea Buzás, director of sales of Tensi Aviation (Aegean Airlines representative in Hungary)
“I highly recommend a trip to Athens…there are many things for people to see and do, well-trained hotel staff and very good tour guide services. I am impressed by the attitude and hospitality of the Greeks.” – Tünde Nagy, business magazine Turizmus Panoráma
“One travels through time when visiting the Acropolis. Athens can not be compared to other cities, it is a city by the sea, with islands nearby, full of history, friendly people and very good food.” – Sára Lilli Németh, Népszabadság newspaper
The press trip was co-organized by the Athens-Attica & Argosaronikos Hotel Association and Aegean Airlines.
The trip was organised by the Vienna GNTO Office, the Aegean and the Hotel Association
