Eurolot Expands Distribution With Travelport

Polish regional carrier breaks new ground with Travelport deal

EurolotTravelport, a leading distribution services and e-commerce provider for the global travel industry, announced on 18 October its first ever distribution agreement with Eurolot, the Polish regional airline.

The new agreement will result in the carrier’s fares and availability being made available for all Travelport-connected agencies worldwide.

“Bringing Eurolot’s content into Travelport is an excellent result for the travel industry in Poland,” said Robin Ranken, head of Airline Relationships for Europe, Travelport.

“We have made significant progress in continuing our commitment to provide unrivalled content for our agency customers and cost-effective and value-added distribution to all of our airline partners,” he said.

Since 2011, Eurolot has operated flights from its bases in Krakow and Gdansk. Moving forward, a key focus for the airline is to broaden its distribution through the travel agency channel, particularly in the online travel agency sector where Travelport has notable strength in Eastern Europe.

“This is an important delivery for our company’s strategy, as Travelport will significantly increase the availability of Eurolot content to travel agents and companies offering online sales,” said Jakub Szczepaniak, Manager Reservation Systems & IT at Eurolot.
