Passenger arrivals across all airports in Greece marked a sharp increase in the first four months of the year, according to the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority.
Greece’s 14 regional airports, some on popular destinations such as Mykonos, Santorini and Corfu, contributed to the positive performance of Fraport Group in 2022.
Greek airports recouped 90.6% of passenger traffic in the first six months of the year compared to the first half of 2019, according to data by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA).
Greek airports handled 8.1 million passengers in the first four months of the year, up by 383% over the same period in 2021, according to data by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority.
