Bournemouth Airport: Rhodes Among Top 5 Performing Destinations for Summer 2025 Travel
The Greek island of Rhodes is among Jet2’s top five performing destinations from Bournemouth Airport for travel next summer, according to an announcement by the UK-based tour operator Jet2holidays and airline Jet2.com.
The news comes exactly one month after Jet2 announced the sale of flights and holidays for 16 destinations across Europe, the Canary Islands, and the Mediterranean from Bournemouth Airport for summer 2025.
The top five performing destinations from Bournemouth Airport are Antalya, Tenerife, Dalaman, Majorca and Rhodes, with the companies reporting strong sales to all 16 summer destinations from customers and independent travel agents.
“From day one, and over the last four weeks, the response to our award-winning flights and holidays going on sale from Bournemouth Airport has been truly phenomenal, and we are delighted at how well the launch has been received,” Jet2.com and Jet2holidays CEO Steve Heapy said.
In their first summer of operations from Bournemouth Airport, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate up to 27 weekly flights, including multiple weekly flights to popular destinations across the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Turkey and Greece (Rhodes, Heraklion–Crete, Corfu and Zakynthos) as well as services to Mainland Spain, Portugal and Madeira. Two destinations (Fuerteventura and Madeira) are exclusive from Bournemouth Airport.
The inaugural flight from Bournemouth Airport will depart to Tenerife on April 1, 2025, and in summer 2025 two-based aircraft will fly holidaymakers from Bournemouth Airport on their package holidays with Jet2holidays and leisure flights with Jet2.com.
Jet2 announced flights and holidays from Bournemouth Airport in response to years of demand from customers and independent travel agents in Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth and the wider South of England region.
