Apollo Hills: New Luxury Residential Community Coming to the Athenian Riviera
Henderson Park, a European real estate investment platform, and Hines, an international real estate firm, announced the launch of Apollo Hills, a 200-million-euro residential development project situated in the prestigious Voula suburb, located on the Athenian Riviera.
The project is planned to transform an urban site of the southern suburbs into a refined residential community, just 16km south of Athens city center, nestled at the southwest foot of the Hymettus mountain and conveniently connected to the city’s airport.
According to an announcement by the two real estate investment companies, Apollo Hills will offer a “unique blend of urban convenience and natural beauty”, setting a “new standard for quality living in Athens”.
“At Apollo Hills our ambition is to create a residential community which sets a new benchmark for luxury and sustainability in Athens,” said Henderson Park CEO Nick Weber.
The project is planned to not only highlight Voula’s reputation as a highly desirable suburb on the Athens Riviera but also introduce a new benchmark in sustainable residential living through BREEAM-certified green architecture.
According to Paul Gomopoulos, Senior Managing Director and Head of Hines in Greece, Apollo Hills will represent a “peaceful oasis” in the heart of the Athenian Riviera.
“Apollo Hills is more than just a development; it’s a celebration of what Greece can achieve. It’s about putting Athens on the international stage for discerning residential buyers.”
The development will feature an outdoor pool, an outdoor playground, and an indoor pool, catering to all ages. For relaxation and wellness, there will be comprehensive spa and gym facilities alongside serene private gardens. Apollo Hills will have 24-hour porter services and secure underground parking, so residents can have convenience and security. Furthermore, residents will have an exclusive beach club membership to enjoy the Athens coast.
In a commitment to giving back to the local community, Apollo Hills has allocated over 11,000 sqm for the creation of green spaces, sports facilities, and parks. Additionally, the project is being developed with full respect for the existing urban planning legislation and the natural environment of the region.
Sale of the Apollo Hills residential units
Henderson Park and Hines also announced a partnership with Greece Sotheby’s International Realty for the sale of the Apollo Hills residential units. Sotheby International Realty is a leading player in the luxury property market worldwide.
The partnership will see Greece Sotheby’s International Realty lead the promotion and sales of Apollo Hills.
According to Greece Sotheby’s International Realty President and CEO Savvas Savvaidis, a significant number of pre-sales are already in place while strong demand is expected when sales officially launch.
“Apollo Hills is a landmark development in Athens, southern suburbs, designed to meet the discerning needs of both Greek and international buyers,” Savvaidis said.
The Apollo Hills project has been conceived by architecture firm Porphyrios Associates in conjunction with Greek architecture firm Diarchon.
