Europe Congress to Hold MICE B2B Event in Helsinki
Europe Congress, a congress and event organizer company, is set to bring its highly anticipated MCE North & West Europe forum to Helsinki from April 21 to 23 this year.
A premier MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) B2B forum, the event this year will see more than 200 event professionals – including 100+ of the top hotels, convention bureaus, and tourism boards from Western and Northern European countries – meet with international event planners at the Crowne Plaza Helsinki- Hesperia.
Accroding to the organizers, Helsinki’s reputation for holding successful congresses, as well as its commitment to sustainability and green spaces, made it a natural choice for Europe Congress’s third MICE event of 2024.
“Finland has ranked among the top 20 most popular congress destinations for many years in a row,” said Ines Antti-Poika, Head of Business Events at Finland Convention Bureau, a main partner for the event, highlighting the country’s safe conditions in a country with spacious and functional facilities, and nature that is easily accessible.
Participants will spend two nights in the Nordics, providing them with 2,5 days filled with B2B meetings, both formal and informal networking opportunities, and activities to discover just why Finland has been named the happiest country in the world six years running.
Additionally, a small group of attendees will even extend their stay via highly sought-after FAM trips in Helsinki and neighboring cities Tallinn and Tampere, partaking in traditionally Finnish events like river floating, ice hockey matches, and a trip or two to the sauna.
“For our events, the informal networking is just as important as the formal B2B meetings,” highlighted Alain Pallas, Managing Director for Europe Congress. “Finland perfectly embodies our vision for events as they believe in living a very balanced life between work and social activities.”
Europe Congress has partnered with Helsinki Partners and Visit Espoo to organize the event program while grand dinners will be held at the unique Little Finlandia and the iconic Hanaholmen, both located right on the water.
“Hosting the event is a proof of joint commitment to excellence and local co-operation,” said Antti-Poika.
Based in Prague, Europe Congress organizes quality MICE business forums in major destinations in collaboration with local partners aiming to create destination awareness as well as engagement in business industry.
