Seajets’ New High-speed Vessel Arrives in Piraeus Port
Greek ferry company Seajets, aiming to offer high quality transport services, recently added the high-speed vessel EuroChampion Jet to its fleet.
The latest member of the Seajets’ family arrived at Piraeus Port in early March and will soon be painted in the company’s livery. The EuroChampion Jet will join the company’s two flagships, World Champion Jet, the fastest high-speed vessel with a Guinness record and Tera Jet, the largest high-speed vessel worldwide.
The EuroChampion Jet (formerly HSC Natchan Rera) was built in 2007 in Australia by Incat. With a length of 112.6 meters and a width of 31 meters, it is an impressive combination of size and speed. The vessel’s great advantage is its ability to carry 1,500 passengers and 380 vehicles.
“We welcome EuroChampion Jet, the ultra-modern high-speed vessel that will upgrade Greek coastal shipping and Greek tourism by offering high quality transport services,” Seajets’ management said in a recent announcement.
According to Seajets, the official itineraries for the summer season will be announced in the coming weeks.
Established in the field of shipping in 1989 and officially launched as a passenger line in 2002, Seajets operates the largest network of high-speed vessels worldwide that covers more than 250 connections from Piraeus, Rafina, and Crete for the islands of Cyclades. The company has 17 vessels and serves 33 islands, including Crete.
Really looking forward to going on this latest vessel from the Seajets family.
