Hotel bookings in Greece for next year have already recorded a 21 percent increase year-on-year, according to travel tech group webhotelier | primalres.
The data was unveiled during the group’s first Travel Tech Forum in Greece titled “Knowledge as a catalyst for change” that was held during the Xenia 2023 hospitality trade show in Athens.
During the forum, the group’s Chief Marketing Officer, Yiannis Fotis, presented data regarding the evolution of online bookings (on accommodation websites as well as bookings through online travel agents) for 2024. In a sample of 7,461 accommodations the number of overnight stays (room nights) until November 25 concerning stays in 2024, showed an increase of 21 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2023.
