Norwegian Announces New Riga-Corfu Route for Summer 2024
Norwegian recently announced its flight schedule for next summer, which includes a new connection to Corfu, Greece, from Riga as of May.
The airline in total has added 40 new routes to its programme with nine new routes from Norway, 17 new routes from Denmark, nine from Sweden and two new routes from Finland.
Norwegian has added Basel, Lyon, Montpellier, Pristina, Zadar and Bari amongst other destinations to the summer programme. A new route between London Gatwick and Gothenburg will operate with four weekly flights from 2 May.
“Launching these new routes expands our network and offers our customers more choice. From our bases in Europe, we are also starting new point-to-point routes,” said Norwegian Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Magnus Thome Maursund.
New point-to-point routes between Malaga-Munich, Alicante-Munich, Riga-Corfu, and Riga-Tivat will operate throughout the summer season.
“Our exiting new destinations will take travellers to vibrant European cities and destinations with crystal clear waters and sandy beaches,” said the airline’s CCO.
In summer 2024 Norwegian will have a fleet of around 90 aircraft and will fly a total of 332 routes to 123 destinations.
