Korean Air Earns 7th Consecutive 5-Star Rating from APEX
Korean Air has recently received a 5-star global airline rating in the APEX Official Airline Ratings for the seventh consecutive year, becoming one of a few airlines to earn the highest rating for such an extended period.
The APEX Official Airline Ratings is a program that rates airlines based on passenger feedback collected through the TripIt mobile app. The ratings are based on a variety of factors, including seat comfort, cabin service, in-flight meals, and in-flight entertainment. Based on the feedback, the APEX Official Airline Ratings is compiled and certified by a professional external auditing company.
Korean Air’s 5-star rating reflects its commitment to providing passengers with a superior travel experience. The airline offers a variety of amenities and services, including:
- First class Kosmo Suites 2.0 with intuitive features and superior comfort
- In-flight entertainment system with a wide variety of content
- In-flight meals using seasonal ingredients and a quality wine selection
- New Korean-style vegan meal
The airline has maintained its 5-star status since 2018, a distinction only a handful global airlines share, including Air New Zealand, Cathay Pacific Airways, and Etihad Airways.
It has also been granted numerous awards, including a 5-star airline rating from Skytrax, Air Transport World’s Airline of the Year award, and Cargo Operator of the Year award.
