Ministry: Repatriation of Greek Citizens from Israel
The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday informed that procedures are underway for the safe repatriation of Greek citizens from Tel Aviv, following the clashes between Israel and Hamas.
Of the 149 registered Greek individuals, 81 that participated in two organized tours, on Sunday departed at 21:30 from Ben Gurion Airport on a scheduled El Al flight directly to Athens.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Embassy of Greece in Tel Aviv and the Consulate General in Jerusalem, maintains constant contact with Greek visitors currently in the region,” according to an announcement by the ministry.

The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday condemned the Hamas attacks against Israel.
“Greece strongly condemns today’s launch of heavy rocket attacks from Gaza against Israel. Greece stands with Israel and is deeply concerned by this unacceptable escalation of violence,” the ministry said.
