Sky express: Direct flights from Athens to Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Warsaw
Greek airline SKY express on Thursday announced the addition of new direct flights from Athens to Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Warsaw.
The airline is enhancing its flight schedule to Germany with the addition of Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) and Dusseldorf International Airport (DUS) and also brings Athens closer to north-central Europe and the capital of Poland with direct flights to Warsaw Frederic Chopin International Airport (WAW).
“The expansion of our flight program to three very strategic airports in Europe confirms our commitment to create even more connectivity opportunities for the country by serving our passengers all year round with the most competitive terms,” SKY express Chief Commercial Director Gerasimos Skaltsas said.
According to SKY express’ flight schedule, flights from Athens International Airport (AIA) to Frankfurt will run six times a week, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
Flights to Dusseldorf will be operated four times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and flights to Warsaw will be available to travelers five times a week, every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
Tickets for travel from October 29 on any of the three new routes are available for booking.
According to SKY express, the addition of the three new destinations to its flight schedule will strengthen the company’s expanding global network. Sky express now flies the newest fleet in Greece to 15 destinations abroad and still has the largest network of domestic destinations (34).
“The addition of the three new destinations of Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Warsaw gives our long-term plan a further boost,” Skaltsas said.
