Celebrity Cruises: New ‘Ascent’ Ship to Debut in November
Celebrity Cruises recently announced that the Celebrity Ascent, the brand’s newest resort at sea, will begin journeys in November 2023.
Renowned as one of the most awarded premium cruise lines, Celebrity Cruises continues to make waves with the introduction of this highly anticipated addition to its fleet. The Celebrity Ascent has already been recognized as one of the “Best New U.S. Cruises of 2023” by Conde Nast Traveler.
The fourth vessel in the brand’s award-winning Edge Series, the Celebrity Ascent will be the newest ship based in South Florida for the 2023-2024 Caribbean season.
Cruising out of Port Everglades in Ft. During May 2024, Celebrity Ascent will embark on a 12 -Night Best of Italy & Greece cruise, with Mykonos, Santorini and Rhodes as a few of its port calls before concluding its journey at Piraeus.
“I am so excited to introduce the world to Celebrity Ascent and continue the legacy of Celebrity’s Edge Series,” said Celebrity Cruises’ President Laura Hodges Bethge, underlining that, since its launch in 2018, the Edge Series has redefined the cruising experience and gained popularity among consumers.
According to Celebrity Cruises, the Celebrity Ascent will reintroduce beloved features from its sister ships in the Edge Series.
Notable highlights include The Theatre, offering state-of-the-art technology and imaginative performances; The Rooftop Garden, an outdoor haven for live music, movies, and al fresco dining; The Magic Carpet – the world’s first cantilevered lounge and gathering space at sea offering a new way to drink, dine and socialize while enjoying unobstructed panoramic views; The Spa, where holistic wellness takes center stage; and The Sunset Bar, designed by Nate Berkus, offering an international beach club ambiance, among others.
