Celestyal Cruises Expands Global Commercial Team with Two Senior Appointments
Celestyal, which operates multi-destination cruises to the Greek Islands and the Eastern Mediterranean, recently announced the appointment of two senior members to its commercial team as part of the company’s ongoing investment in key markets.
Tobias Klitsch has joined Celestyal as VP of Global Market Development, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the travel industry, having held senior positions at British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and PA Consulting. In his new role, Klitsch will work cross-functionally to design and execute the commercial strategy that will deliver Celestyal’s vision of being brilliant to do business with. He will also partner with Sales leaders to devise market-appropriate strategies to drive the company’s growth plans.
Beth Hulett has been named Global Market Development Manager. With over eight years’ experience in the cruise industry, Hulett joins Celestyal from Virgin Voyages, where she worked with key UK partners to help drive sales. In her new role, Hulett will support Klitsch in delivering the commercial strategy to deliver value for both Celestyal and its Trade Partners globally. She will also support the field-based account team across all channels in identifying opportunities.
“I am delighted to welcome Tobias and Beth to Celestyal. They join at an exciting time, with the recent launch of Celestyal Holidays, our dedicated trade packaging solution in partnership with Aviate, and the highly-anticipated debut of our new ship, Celestyal Journey, in September,” said Celestyal’s Chief Commercial Officer, Lee Haslett.
The company’s investment in key markets comes as it seeks to broaden its presence globally and strengthen its position as the leading provider of multi-destination holiday experiences in Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean.
Celestyal’s unique Greek heritage combines outstanding hospitality with genuine cultural destination immersion, providing authentic, lifetime experiences both onboard and onshore.
Since 2014, Celestyal has received top honors in the Tourism Awards, one of the largest and most prestigious awards programs within the Greek tourism industry.
The company is also committed to sustainability and ethical business practices, supporting local communities in the destinations it visits, particularly in the field of education. The entire spectrum of Celestyal’s ship management, including technical, hotel and crew management, and offices, are certified in accordance with ISO 9001/14001 standards.
