The calm waters and location of the hotel also make it perfect for sea kayaking, which can be hired from the hotel’s water sports center, with trips led by the local experts Explore the Outside.
The hotel’s kids club by Worldwide Kids has a new concept this year focused on immersive outdoor experiences, and Explore the Outside, accredited by British Water Ski and Wakeboard, offers a full water sports program with activities including sailing, snorkelling, and pedalos.
Private cruises are also available for guests to explore the surrounding area, including the Paxos-Antipaxos and Blue Caves Cruise, Parga Private Cruise, and Sivota Private Cruise.

MarBella Elix is also bike-friendly, with two carefully planned routes for cyclists of all abilities. Guests can take off on their own voyages of discovery or rent bikes and join guided cycling groups. One route takes guests through the dramatic Epirus Mountain range and spectacular Zagorohoria National Park, while the other passes through remote villages and along the West coastline overlooking the Ionian Sea, Sivota, Corfu, and Paxos islands.
Finally, MarBella Elix offers awe-inspiring day trips for guests, allowing them to explore the area’s rich history and cultural significance. Day trips include visits to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Meteora or the Greek traditional village of Metsovo for wine tasting at the nearby Katogi Averoff Winery.
MarBella Elix’s reopening comes as the travel industry continues to rebound from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the hotel’s focus on digital-detox and outdoor experiences is sure to appeal to travelers looking for a break from technology and the opportunity to explore nature.
