Brown Hotels Opens Isla Brown Chania in May
Brown Hotels has recently announced the opening of its new 5-star resort, Isla Brown Chania, in May.
The luxurious resort is situated on Crete‘s Akrotiri peninsula, offering panoramic views of the Cretan Sea and one of the island’s most beautiful sunsets.
With 148 deluxe rooms and suites, each featuring a private pool, Isla Brown Chania is characterized as a “haven of luxury.”
Guests can also indulge in the resort’s three large pools, spa and wellness center, and culinary offerings at its three restaurants. All amenities are designed under a minimalism and discreet luxury umbrella, promising a unique and indulgent stay.
Located just 15 minutes from Chania airport, Isla Brown Chania covers an area of approximately 3,000 square meters.
Additionally, the hotel is situated near the famous village and beach of Stavros, where scenes from the Oscar-nominated movie Zorbas were filmed.
Furthermore, most of Akrotiri’s beaches are protected from the strong summer winds and are located a short distance from the city, such as Marathi and Kalatha beach. There are also several historical sites in proximity, such as the ancient city of Kydonia, monasteries such as Gouverneto, Agia Triada, and Paxinos, and the tombs of the famous Venizelos family.
Isla Brown Chania is the second 5-star resort of Brown Hotels in Greece, following Isla Brown Corinthia, which opened last spring.
The Brown Hotels chain was founded in 2010 by hoteliers Leon Avigad and Nitzan Perry and is renowned for its unique design hotels in Israel (Tel Aviv, Jerusalem), Croatia, and Greece.
Its founders’ desire is to create hotels that showcase the authentic culture and energy of a location while reintroducing the area’s nightlife and unique neighborhoods to the residents themselves.
